Well I only need one more entry so ill just say what Ive learned from this class. I think the way the papers have been broken down has analyzed different writing styles and techniques more thoroughly and Dr. AC does a great job at this. The first few papers prepared me for the research paper and I bet the research paper will help me on the exam. I really enjoyed analyzing different plays and short stories and how they can apply to different things in the world. Harrison Burgeron was cool cuz it showed a different style of living and the system of governing. Anyway im not a complete english nerd but it has been my favorite subject for years since I was little and used to write short stories and poems and things like that. So yeah english rocks! Especially when I get good grades haha. So peace to everyone and good luck w/ your college futures!

So we got paper three back today. Dr. AC made it seem like many people didn't write it how they were supposed to so I got really scared but I made a straight A so it's all good. I can't barely remember writing that paper but I just remember feeling like it was really good when i was done haha anyways im totally watching My Fair Lady right now. And Im going to finish Antigone before next class! Peace.

So today in class we talked about Antigone and pretty much went over things I already knew. Not that it was a waste of time or anything of that sort. But it was a good refresher! The quiz was pretty straight-forward also. but I feel bad for the people who didn't turn in their research paper because they will be in a lot of trouble :/ but im glad the paper is done and all that is left to take is the exam!

Today in class we are doing an evaluation. Im not sure if this is over Antigone or a paper we have done. Im assuming its over Antigone. I read that play and did a lot of work on it my sophmore year so I remember a bit of it. But I need to refresh my memory on the play..its been a while. I honestly didn't read it yesterday because of my research paper, but that's no excuse really. So class is starting now. peace!

Yay my research paper is done! Kind of bittersweet though because now that means all thats left is the exam. And then ill be done with school! Which is a weird feeling. But im happy and now hopefully the class won't be so stressful. I think this week we are reading Antigone? Yeah I guess ill find out in class today! But I feel confident on my research paper and I hope I get a good grade and all those hours paid off!

Alright, well, im not sure if we are supposed to reading Antigone for monday? Idk. someone know? I thought since our research paper is due that day we probably didn't need to work on anything else but she usually expects us to do multiple things which is fair. I just dont remember her saying anything about reading it. Ugh. well I must finish this research paper! Im sure everything will turn out fine, school is just so stressful sometimes!

So the research paper is seriously kicking my trash right now. I have everything I need to write it and Im already far into it, but I still have to major points to cover and I have already taken up four pages just with the intro and two paragraphs. But im thinking ill just condense it a little or something. Hopefully it will turn out good!

A Doll's house was a very interesting play. I found that once I started reading I couldn't stop. It was very intriguing with all of the drama and secrets going around from character to character. Nora of course was entertaining, but I am disappointed that she left her family in the end. She could have worked with her husband and tried to make things better, but w/e. A little melodramatic. Im happy that we had quizes over the play though because I read it and knew the answers! Haha

The Tempest was an interesting play. I wouldn't exactly say that I enjoyed it, because I never really got around to reading the ending, but our conversation in class was interesting. There are a lot of things that I seemed to miss because of the style of Shakespeare's writing. He is one confusing man but at the same time brilliant. Im glad were done with that one, though. It didn't really thrill me to any extent but it made me think harder about life and the correlations from the play to the present day.

So our last paper we turned in was pretty easy i thought. I still haven't gotten it back yet but I'm confident I made a good grade. I spent a lot of time on it and I hope Dr. AC is grading too hard since its been like a week since we turned it in. But its all good. Im just glad we are almost done with all the play and story material in the book!
